5 Things about Venus planet | Hottest planet in our solar system

The venus planet is hottest planet of the solar system
The Venus Planet

The planet Venus is the second planet from the sun. The Venus name of planet is named after the beautiful Roman goddess because of planet’s brightness and shinning appearance in the sky. After our moon, Venus is the second brightest object in night sky. The distance from the sun is 108 million km or 67 million miles. The planet is hotter than Mercury Planet because of Venus atmosphere and Venus temperature. The color of the Venus is yellowish but at night it appears as bright white to eyes. The Venus rotates around its axis clockwise, unlikely the other planets in solar system. The Venus rotates around its axis very slowly. The planet takes 243 Earth days to rotate at once around axis and orbit around the sun requires 224.7 Earth days. That means the day of Venus is longer than year. This is the only planet of solar system on which the day is longer than the year. The Venus is closest to the Earth and called as Twins planet. The two planets are nearly the same in size and structure. The Venus orbit closest to the Earth’s orbit around the sun.

The Venus planet is dense atmosphere with 90 times more pressure that of Earth.

The Venus is brightest object after our Moon. So anyone can see it with naked eyes at night. The diameter of the planet is 12,104 km (7,520.8 miles). This is only 638.4 km (396.7 miles) less than Earth’s diameter. And the mass is 81.5% of the Earth. The Venus is rocky body as like Earth. The density of Venus is nearly the same as Earth’s density. The density of Venus is 5.24 g/cm3 and Earth’s density is 5.51 g/cm3. So Venus and Earth called Twin Planets. But the atmosphere is not similar as Earth. Atmosphere of Venus has very high concentrations of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases will absorb the hit and will increase the temperature of planet. The Venus does not have any natural satellite as like Earth’s Moon.

Does The Venus have atmosphere? The Venus have very thick and hot atmosphere. Atmosphere consists of 96% of carbon dioxide, 3.5% of Nitrogen and in 0.5%, carbon monoxide, argon, Sulphur dioxide and water vapor. So the atmospheric pressure is very high over 90 times than the   Earth. The atmosphere is mainly made up of carbon dioxide and thick clouds of sulphuric acid droplets, so the atmosphere is very toxic. The sulphuric acid clouds cover entire planet. As the carbon dioxide is main content (96%) of atmosphere, the hit comes from sun is absorbed and trapped in atmosphere which increase the temperature of the planet. The maximum surface Temperature of Venus is 470 degrees Celsius. These sulphuric acid clouds are 30 miles up from surface of planet but the temperature is same as that of on the surface. The atmosphere mainly has two main parts as Troposphere and Thermosphere. Troposphere is closest from surface. Troposphere has first clear atmosphere of mainly carbon dioxide and above it has lower haze of dust and sulphuric acid aerosol (extremely small droplets). Thermosphere has first thick cloud layers containing droplets of sulphuric acid and above it has haze containing droplets of sulphuric acid. On the Earth, we experience rain of water droplets but on Venus, acid rain is raining. But there is no rainfall on the surface of Venus. When sulphuric acid falls from the sky of Venus, it evaporates at distance 25 km above the surface.

What is Venus made of?

The Composition of The Venus Planet.

Now, what is Venus made of? The Inner Core is made of semi solid iron metal. The Core is approximately 3200 km (2000 miles) in radius. The inner core is mostly made up of iron and nickel. The inner core has very high temperature. But the intense pressure at the inner core of planet does not allow the inner core stay in molten form. So the inner core of planet is solid ball. The outer core of the Venus is also made up of iron and nickel. But the pressure at this layer is less than inner core. So due to the very high temperature, the outer core is in molten form. The Mantle of Venus is similar to the Earth’s Mantle. But not strong as that of Earth’s Mantle. The Mantle rock is rich in magnesium and iron. The thickness of Mantle is 3000km. The Mantle is made of hot rock, which is slowly churning due to the planet’s interior hit. The Crust of Venus is very thin layer. The thickness of crust is only 50 km. The Planet loses its heat through its rocky crust. Due to the Mantle shifts, the crust moves to creates volcanic activities which will increase heat loss. The Crust is made of silicates and metals and mostly appears to be of volcanic and basaltic. The Venus does not have global tectonics as there is no Earth. Because of no actively moving tectonic plates, the creation, displacement and eruption of magma is different than it is on Earth.

Orbit of The Venus

The Orbit of the Venus planet.
The Orbit Of the Venus.

Every Planet in our solar system orbits around the sun. The Venus orbits around sun in clockwise that is most planet orbits anti clockwise. In the planet Venus history, it rotates anti clockwise as like other planets in solar system but the unknown object collides to change its spin as clockwise. So on the Venus sun rises on west and sets on east side. But this occurs very few time due to the very slow speed of Venus around its axis. Venus takes 243 Earth days to rotates about its axis and it takes approximately 225 Earth days to rotates around the sun. So here is day of Venus is longer than the year. That means, only one sun rise or sun set in one year of Venus. The Venus spins nearly upright, and so Venus does not experience noticeable seasons. The Orbital speed of Venus is 35.02 km per second. The planet orbits in nearly a perfect circular orbit.

The Orbit of the Venus planet is nearly the circular in shape and closest to the Earth.

Magnetic Field

The Venus Magnetic field is very weak as compared with Earth

The Venus rotates around its axis is very slow. The Earth rotates in 24 hours, so it is very fast as compared with Venus rotation. So Metallic liquid flowing in core has faster than Venus. This flow of metallic liquid generates a measurable global magnetic field around Earth. But Venus requires 243 Earth days to complete one rotation around its axis. So it predicts lack of any liquid metallic portion of its core could not be rotating fast enough to generate a measurable global magnetic field. As compared to Earth, the Venus has no magnetic field. Due to lack of magnetic field, the radiations from sun reaches to the surface of Venus and carbon dioxide traps the heat radiation. This results in to increase in temperature of Venus.

Transit of Venus

The Venus transit across the sun is very rarest astronomical event occurs every approximately 125 years.

The Transit of Venus across the sun, when Venus passes between the sun and earth, it is one type of eclipse but in this sun does not covers and not appears dark. When Venus transit across sun, Venus appears as tiny dark spot on the sun. The transit of Venus is very rarest astronomical event than the transit of Mercury. Because orbit of Venus is longer than Mercury. On an average only two transits of Venus observed every 125 years. The Transit of Venus is observed in June 2012. And the previously observed in December 4, 1639 and next transit will occur in 2117.

What is the Sun?

The Sun is our home star . Our sun gives valuable energy to us. The Earth has living thing because of the sun light. The sun radiates heat in the form of light and it takes only 8 minutes to reach on Earth, but it can takes 100000 years to transfer energy from Sun’s core to the Sun’s surface and emerge as light. The process of transferring energy from Sun’s Core to the surface of Sun is slower because the energy absorbed by trillions of atoms is reemitted again and again. This energy passes through the dense radiative zone. The Sun Our Only Star In Our Solar System. Nuclear fusion reaction in sun The energy emitted by Sun is from the nuclear fusion reaction which takes place in core. In the core the specific type of nuclear fusion reaction occurs is known as proton-proton fusion . These protons are nothing but the hydrogen nucleus. The protons (hydrogen nucleus) fuse together through series and different steps to form the helium . This reaction process generates massive a

8 Things about Mercury planet | The First planet in our solar system

The Mercury: Inner most planet from the sun.                  The Mercury planet is smallest planet and innermost planet of our solar system. The name Mercury is after the Greek god Hermes, translated into Latin Mercurius Mercury, He is the god of commerce, the messenger of the gods and mediator between gods and mortals. As the Mercury is the closest planet from the sun, it has the fastest speed of revolution around the sun. Because of the sun’s very strong gravitational force, this gives Mercury speed. The Mercury is speeding along at about 29 miles per second around the sun and completing each orbit in just 88 Earth’s days. The Mercury planet rotates about its axis very slowly, taking nearly 59 Earth days to complete one rotation. As a result, a day on Mercury is about 176 Earth day . The speed of planet gives it the nickname as Swift Planet . The Mercury: Smallest Planet in solar system.               The Mercury is not the brightest planet to see in the sky with naked eyes. T
